Great Hall

The Great Hall gives every champion of an affinity permanent stat bonuses; this page lists the game's table for each of its ten levels and how to spend your medals.

In short
  • The Great Hall has one block per affinity (Magic, Force, Spirit, Void) with six upgradable stats: HP, ATK, DEF, RES, ACC and C.DMG. Each stat goes from level 0 to level 10.
  • A champion only receives the bonuses of its own affinity's block. Bonuses work everywhere in the game, not just in one mode.
  • You pay with Arena medals, and an upgrade is permanent. Every level is a cumulative total, not an addition: level 10 HP is +20%, not +20% more on top of the earlier levels.
  • HP, ATK and DEF give a percentage of the champion's base stat; RES, ACC and C.DMG give flat points.
  • Fully maxed, one affinity gives +20% HP/ATK/DEF, +80 RES, +80 ACC and +25 C.DMG to every champion of that affinity.

What the Great Hall is

The Great Hall is a building in your fortress, opened early in the account. It is a way to turn Arena medals into permanent power for your whole roster instead of for one champion. Some guides and the game's newer screens call it "Affinity Bonuses"; it is the same thing.

It has four rows, one for each affinity, and every row offers the same six stats. If you play a team of Force champions, only the Force row helps them. A champion of Void gets nothing from the Magic row.

The game's table, level by level

This is the game's own table. Each cell is the total bonus at that level, not the step from the previous one.

LevelHP, ATK, DEFRES, ACCC.DMG
0000
1+2%+5+2
2+3%+10+4
3+4%+15+6
4+6%+20+8
5+8%+30+10
6+10%+40+12
7+12%+50+15
8+14%+60+18
9+17%+70+21
10+20%+80+25

The Great Hall has no SPD or C.RATE upgrades at all. C.DMG is added as percentage points (a champion on 50 becomes 75 at level 10), as described in every stat explained.

Note This table is read from the game as of 2026-10-15. Early community guides list the same HP/ATK/DEF and RES/ACC figures; if a patch changes the table, trust the numbers in your own Great Hall screen.

How the bonus is applied

The percentage bonuses (HP, ATK, DEF) are a percentage of the champion's base stat, the one it has for its star rank and level before any gear. They are added to the other percentage bonuses on that stat; they are not multiplied with them. Where your champion's stats come from has the full rule and a worked example.

Example: a champion has a base HP of 15,000 (a made-up round number). Level 10 in the Great Hall gives it 15,000 × 0.20 = +3,000 HP. If that champion already has +40% HP from gear, the two percentages add up to +60%, so the gear and Great Hall together are worth 9,000 HP, not 15,000 × 1.4 × 1.2.

Medals: how you pay

Upgrades cost Arena medals, which you earn by winning Arena fights; the Arena is the only way to improve the Great Hall. Medals come in bronze, silver and gold. One guide reports that levels 1 to 3 accept any kind, levels 4 to 6 need silver or gold, and levels 7 to 10 need gold, with lower medals combinable into higher ones.

Note The exact medal cost of each level is not in a source we could cross-check, and Plarium has changed Arena rewards before. Read the price on the upgrade button in your game before you spend. Checked 2026-10-15.
Careful Great Hall upgrades cannot be undone. Decide which affinity you play most before you spend a medal.

What to upgrade first

  1. Pick your main affinities. Look at the champions you use in your best teams. A row that serves the champions you play every day is worth far more than a row for a champion you may not keep.
  2. Raise ACC, RES and C.DMG before HP/ATK/DEF. Flat ACC and RES are hard to get from gear without giving up speed or attack, and the Great Hall gives them for free. Several guides recommend this order.
  3. Spread your medals rather than finishing one stat. The cost per level rises, so the early levels of every stat are the cheapest way to add stats. Finish a stat once the others are on par.
  4. Then HP, DEF and ATK. A level 5 bonus of +8% is real but small next to a good gear set.
Tip The size of each step is not even: for HP, ATK and DEF, levels 2 and 3 add only 1 point each, while levels 4 to 8 add 2 each and levels 9 and 10 add 3. For C.DMG the steps grow from +2 to +3 at level 7 and to +4 at level 10. The last levels are the most expensive, but they are also the biggest steps.

Not the same thing: Area bonuses

A second building, often called Area Bonuses or the Observatory, looks similar but works differently. It has one row per area of the game (for example Doom Tower, Hydra, the Demon Lord / Clan Boss, Faction Wars or each dungeon), and the bonus applies only while you fight in that area. It does not appear on a champion's normal stat sheet. Every row offers eight stats at ten levels:

StatPer levelAt level 10
HP, ATK, DEF+2% each level+20%
Ignore DEF+2% each level+20%
SPD+2 each level+20
RES, ACC+8 each level+80
C.DMG+3 each level+30

This table is the game's own and is the same for every area. The Area bonus and the Great Hall add into the same pool during a fight, so a champion's stats in battle can be higher than the sheet shows. If an area matters to you (Clan Boss is the common case), upgrading its row is a good use of the currency it takes; see Clan Boss.
